I just read one of your blogs. If your daughter is already a nurse, she'll need a BSN to go in as a Officer as there are no enlisted rates for nurse's, without a bachelor's degree, other than Corpsman who actually work under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse just as practical nurse's do. If your daughter is a PN I would encouarge her to enroll in a BSN program & then apply as an Officer. She might even try looking into an ROTC program. Depending on what type of nursing program she earned her PN diploma from she may be able to obtain credits for for her PN education.

Any turning back after signing DEP

Is there any turning back - My daughter took the physical this am and called to say she was waiting to hear what jobs she qualifies for and said she was DEP until she finishes school next year. What is she changes her mind? Is there any turning back?

Things are moving along quickly - will it slow down......................

We met with recruiter - She took her ASVAB now going for physical - (Monday a.m.) and then what??????????? This started off as an "idea" and she's plugging away at it. I'm not sure how to feel........ Yesterday was "moving up" at BOCE's for Practical Nursing - She received high honors for all 4 qtr's. Not even sure why I'm writing all this - Just trying to make some sense out of it all -
