Well, the whirl wind of holiday activities has finally died down. Things are pretty much back to normal. I have added some new Christmas pictures. Hope everyone enjoys them. Can't wait to get back into chatting with some of my best buds...Hope everyone had a great ~ safe Christmas and New Year.

I just got a call from Casey...he has just made up for only writing a couple letters and calling only a couple of times during boot camp. He asked me what I was doing on October 18th. I said, "nothing that I know of," he said "do you want to go to the "Navy Ball" with me? I almost started to cry. I said, "Casey, I would be honored to go to the Navy Ball with you." Casey called me just about 30 minutes ago on my way home from work. He sounded really good, but said he had a cold and an ear infection, but he is persevering. He says he's passed everything but the run. He says he'd rather his legs fall off then not pass that test. He said this was actually the 3rd time that he had a chance to call. I got my 3rd letter from Kyle today. It was very informative. He says training is really starting to pick up speed. They had their PI (Personal Inspection) he got a 4.0 out of 5.0. and they had their WTI (Weapons Turnover Inspection) he got a 5.0. They had their Physical Fitness Assessment which he also did well on (sit-ups, push-ups and running). He said his division (334/13) is doing well as a team. I just can't help it---I am growing more and more concerned about Casey. I know all you guys with any hint of information remotely close to Casey are trying to reassure me, and I really appreciate it, but it's just not the same as hearing it directly from him. Right now I'm just hoping and praying that everything is OK with him. That he's doing OK. That maybe he's just a little behind from getting his wisdom teeth out.
