Hi, does anyone have a son/daughter assigned to the USS George H. W. Bush after A School graduation? My son graduates the 23rd in P'cola. He plans on taking leave before heading up to VA.

- They work that all out with the ravel Dept. and then when he gets to VA he will go to the USO office and they will get him to the ship Right now the ship is in New Port News ship yard getting some things done. They will be going back to Norfolk the first part of next year. There will be plenty of things for him to do when he gets there.

Hey stranger, how are you? I'm doing good.
That's great that Shelton started A School. How many time these poor kids wait a few months to start. Kim waited two months. That's great!
Kim's still docked in Virginia. The ship is suppose to pulled out any day now for two weeks. Her birthday was last Tuesday, her friends took her out.
Her ship is a cruiser, the USS Normandy. It's smaller than a carrier.
I've been trying to get a graphic of it, but non of the pictures can be copied. Oh well!
Let me get going. Please stay in touch. I'm so happy for Shelton, and I wish him all the best in A School.

- Hi Robin: No we haven't received the dvd yet. What's the Keel? He also ordered a ring, and we haven't got that. I asked my son if he knew Shelton, but they go by last names. so he wasn't sure, but said he probably did. blessings, Kerri

- Robin, Im not sure about the knitting or croching, But if you know of anyone that has any material or would like to donate any we would be happy to sew it up and sen it off. Also I have a extra sewing machine for sale if you know of anyone who would like it.

I think it was like 6-8 weeks after PIR that I got hers If it don;t come in a couple of weeks call them. I know it takes a long time to get them but they have 2,000 requests to process.

- Robin, My daughter went to P'cola for A school and had to wait about 5 weeks to class up but it was worth it, we got to drive up and see her while she was there. ABH he will either be in the hanger bay of the filght deck of the ship, most likley the hanger bay. My daughter is in the hanger bay and loves it she does chocks and chains and moves the planes around with these funny looking tractors. She is on the George HW Bush and is in Norfolk Va right now. We just came back from there she got married last week. She is planing on making a career of the Navy and her Husband is behind her 110% on it.
There is a group called AB moms and it is all the diffrent AB positons like ABH,ABE ect. Hope this helps.

My son is stationed in Virginia on the Carl Vinson, hopefully soon they will get to go to SD. But you know the Navy hurry up and wait. My son is an ABF and he loves it. But plans on becoming a pilot and an officer. I hope he does make a career out of it. Let me know if I can help you in any way. T
