Wow! what a small world we live in! Yeah he loved it in Boston except he wasn't too fond of the winters - not that much different from here. But their indoc for rotc was in Rhode Island which is the same place, I believe as OCS. So does your son need ifs or just API?

My son was in ROTC at Boston University, graduated and commissioned in May 2009. He has a good friend from his consortium living in Perdido Bay. He too, is now waiting for API to start. Im planning a late Jan viist to be there while hes still not busy and to get away from the snow. I think its a little nastier here than in Medina. We went through five blizzards last winter... so much for global warming, huh? He almost applied to Ohio State, but was tired of writing essays - not his strong suit. He was also fortunate to receive his rotc scholarship early his Senior year, before he applied to BU, the school he was awarded. Looking forward to spending time with him. How about you?

He lives about a mile or less from the NAS in condos on the gulf. I think its the back gate, but dont quote me on that. No idea when he starts api. Will your son be home for Christmas? Mine will be home next week for 8 days. talk to you soon...

I am in Willoughby, just about 20 minutes east of Cleveland - the weather sure is beautiful today and trying to keep busy - I go back to work tomorrow I have been off for the past several days to spend quality time with Sarah and also get her ready to leave - I talked to her this morning just before she entered the gate, she sound good said that she was a little nervous but that I am sure is to be expected - thanks so much for the friend request - when are you going to be leaving for Newport - have a safe trip and enjoy the graduation, I guess I will be able to do the same in about 12 weeks - have a great day and week!
