And he should have been receiving BAH all along. He needs to speak top PSD about that. BAH does not depend on training status, but on having dependents!

Hi! Congratulations on your husbands PIR today! I just wanted to stop in and tell you all we are all thinking of you. Ours is in 2 short weeks. It seems like forever, but I know it'll be here before we know it. I can't wait!

I know you will be crazy busy this weekend, but if you have a chance and don't mind it would be cool to see pics you may have. It's so fun to be able to look at all of them..our son is in the performing div. we are hoping maybe we'll get a background sneak peak pic of him from one of the pir's from today or next week. That would be so cool. :)

Congrats again. Bootcamp is over for you all now!

Hi. I just saw the discussion where you were taking a train (Metra) while you are here so I wanted to give you a little advice.

Have you looked at the Metra map yet? As you can see the train runs by O'hare is NCS (Purple line) and the one runs by GL is UPN (Green line). They run no where near each other. So if you want to take Metra from airport to GL you have to change like 2, 3 different trains and walk a lot.

Also another thing to think about is if you don't rent a car, you'll be wasting a lot of time and money which you could be spending with your husband while you are in GL. Your husband have to report back to base by 9pm every night and they can leave around 8am. So you have to pick him up and drop him off every day. There is no local train or bus so your option is walking or train but I don't recommend walking anywhere near base.

Anyways, let me know if I can help you with anything or if you have any question!

No...I didn't... =( He was so adament about me staying near my phone today and even mentioned this call last week and in the 20 min phone call on thursday. I don't know what happened. At this point I'm thinking that maybe they got in trouble or moved it to tomorrow; if we don't get one tomorrow we're probably not getting one at all and have to look forward to their letter's to see what's up. ='( Sorry!

Glad to hear from you. I'm glad that you are learning alot. Don't worry your finance will do just fine. Its just us women who worry so much. I know you have your hands full with the girls. I watch two of my grandchildren during the week, and they are 5 and 3, plus the new one that will be born in November.
What job did your finance go into? What barracks is he in, or as they call it a ship. I'm still learning new stuff everyday too, and I've been on here just a few months. Well I'm going to go no kids tomorrow so I'm going to work at the fire department, and still have to get everything ready to go. Talk to you again soon.
