- It's so great having him home! We went to his reserves unit yesterday in Eugene and I picked out my wedding dress! I am sooo excited! Garrett will be home before you know it!! And it will be amazing!

GoldenEmily said… - It sounds like B. J. will be coming home on December 18th. Of course, he was supposed to come on 12/4 but he got injured that set him back two weeks. So as long as passes all his tests he will graduate on 12/18. He thinks he will get to pick Kings Bay, GA but I think that is all up in the air. He was talking about Sacramento this weekend as a possible spot too.

- Elaine! How are you? I miss you! I just checked into my flights! Only 21.5 hours until my first plane takes off! I am so not ready though! I have some midterms to do before I leave and a class still after work and then I have to finish packing! Ah! Totally worth it though! The things we do for our Sailors!!

- I am a VERY proud mother of one fine young man! He is my pride and joy and has brought so much happiness to my life. We love spending time together as a family...Camping, fishing, boating and the beach. My son graduated boot camp September 25th 2009 and will stay in GL for his A school.

- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- I know my son has made the best decision possible by joing the Navy! I am SO proud!!! You have to let go, and let them grow up. My son is now a SAILOR for the US NAVY!
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
