Got my first letter today. I've read it a few times already. He didn't say that he wanted to come home or anything, but he wouldn't let on any way. Yesterday was so tough. Man I miss him.

Off to basic

Well, my son left last night for basic. Had to have him back at the hotel before 11pm. He's at MEPS and suppose to be flying out around 11am. So proud of him. So, so proud of him, but sad too. Gonna miss him.

Congratulations on the letter!!! Some days will be worse than others and just when you think you've got this "missing thing" licked, you'll find yourself back in a funk. Keep the faith.....it's our only hope! God bless!
