Profile Information

About me:
I am a married mother of three wonderful boys. My oldest is 21, and a very talented artist in college on an art scholarship. My middle is 20, and my seabee. My youngest is 18, and at bootcamp set to PIR on the 8th of January, 2010. So proud of my children!!!!
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That the Navy is..........................Hurry up and wait!! Other than that, they are great. Also, your child goes through so many changes while he is away from you but deep down inside he is still the boy that left for bootcamp!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
I AM SO PROUD OF MY SEABEE and my SNIPE, I FEEL LIKE I COULD EXPLODE!!!!!!!

If he is going to be seperated, when he goes to legal he will be able to call you. It can be a few days before he calls you. If he ends up being seperated, no one will be able to give you information on his seperation unless he signs paper work with legal stating they can give you information.

With that program, only a very, very small number of recruits will be partipacting in that program. Those recruits will send letters home to the families if they can do the program. The letter will have all the information.

Hi there, My son has joined the Navy and will be graduating from Boot Camp next week. I will be there with bells on!!!!!:) My son Andrew a/k/a AJ, is going to be a seabee as well. He is Grad an Go and he will be going to Gulf Port MS for his AIT. I have read and watched many Seabee Video's on YouTube, but would rather hear first hand what its like to be a Seabee. I support him all the way, 100% and I am very proud of him. Do you have any cool stories you can share with me? I would love to hear how your son is doing.

Hi,
My son Ray is also a seabee. He just recently got stationed in Guam. His home port is Port Hueneme, CA. I am so proud of his decision to join the Navy. His grandpa, my dad, was in the Navy from 65 to 70 and wanted to be a seabee, so he is super excited about his grandson's choice.

We are always asked how close are we to Chicago. That's another state as far as the government is concerned. My Mom laughed when we got Pulaski Day off--she grew up in Mt. Prospect and knew the officer history, but they didn't get days off like that way back when. (PS. I graduated from SIU-C!)
