Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Let your child take the lead. This is the hugest commitment I could imagine my son ever taking. Meet with the recruiters and others who are working with your kids. Helps ease my fears seeing the great hands he is in.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
