Nettie we are staying at the Marriott courtyard and it is 3 mi. away from the base it what they told us I looked at the map and it does not seem that far. We are flying into Midway which is 45 to 50 mi. away

Michelle [Emily's Mom,A sch GL] said… - Yes! I am also getting excited and anxious about our trip to GL and Emily's PIR. It doesn't seem real that it's almost here after waiting so long for it to happen. Emily is div 337 ship 09...is your daughter's last name Zehrs? That's what they use to identify people there. Emily's is Mason. What will Kristen be doing after basic? How did she decide to join the navy?? Emily likes to travel and wants to see the world.
