The person you want to check with is your recruiter.

My son sold plasma the whole 14 months he was in the dep program. Just make sure you are hydrated well and eat good food, you do not want to get anemic befor or during bootcamp. :)

Profile Information

About me:
I enlisted in the United States Navy at the end of August and I leave for Boot Camp on May 11, 2010. I am signed up for Aircrew, though I plan on moving to EOD with in the next couple of years. I couldn't go in with that rating from the start because of my vision. I am very excited and am looking forward to RT, and am proud to serve my country.
Most everyone I know in the military are Marines, including my little brother. I had considered joining the Marines, but my brother Mitchell and his friend convinced me to go Navy instead. He has been great helping me with my decision and giving me advice or info, but the Marines obviously differ from the Navy, which is why I joined Navy For Moms. There seems to be a wealth of information here from people who have been there done that, and my recruiter some times has trouble with my many in depth questions. I like to know what I'm getting in too!
