About me:
My son David left for boot camp on September 14, 2009. He is planning on becoming a corpsman after boot camp. None of my children have never signed up for the Navy so this is my first time going through this. I hope I meet a lot of new moms who can help me through this!

You did have a long trip! I remember the feeling when my son had his PIR almost 3 years ago now. The difference in him in just 8 weeks was amazing. I hope you recover from the long trip and long work day soon.

Rhina, it look like your son is graduating this weekend Nov 6th, You should have gotten our grad pack with all your info. by now. You can print out your parking pass. I know this is hard, boot camp it harder on us moms then on the recruits. but things will get easier. I hope you have a great time at PIR.

Hi Rhina:) I am so glad you joined us...it is a very emontional for us moms!! Boot camp I think is harder on moms !! You've come to the right place for support and encouragement!! You can learn so much on this site and so many of us wanting to help you!! Just ask questions..no question is silly...My son, is a corpsman/attached to Marines. He's medical. He has been in Japan for 2 yrs.. He loves loves what he does!!

Write to your son while he is bootcamp. You have no idea how excited they are to get letters. Make sure you encourage him--give him news from home--what is going on--They get no outside info..Before you know it--PIR will be here!! You will not believe how proud you will be--I sent you a friend request--I am here if you need me. I am also on facebook.

I just saw were your son is going to be a corpsman!! I would be glad answer anything you need to know!!

Did you have any luck getting your groups etc.. back. When does your son graduate BC my son's PIR was 8/14 and is now in FL at Corry station for CTT rate what is your sons rate.
