So long my Sailor....

Well my sailor is no longer mine...so that means I can go where I want now. Hello Oorah! I am joining the Marines now and will keep all interested posted. If you have any tips, suggestions or comments...I would love to hear them! I could use all the support I can get now as I do not have the support of my family or even most of my friends and especially not my former fiance. Thanks to everyone who so far has made my membership and experience here so wonderful! I hope all the best for your sailor… Continue

BTW- Hope all of you who get to enjoy F&F have a wonderful time! I will think of you but be where I need to be at this time with my son's mother in law as she undergoes surgery to remove cancer. Please pray for her recovery again as you have in the past! Thanks!

Welcome!!! You will love this site and feel the support as you meet the N4M's. Doesn't matter how much you get on or not. That support is always there.
Jacqueline M- too funny! (last sentence!) Isn't that the truth!! My son was married at 21 and all I say when the eyebrows get raised is that civilian life and military life are two different things. I know b/c I was a Navy brat! Our sailors and the other military branches serving do things differently and it makes them very versatile and wise!!

Hi MaryLou,
My son is also an AO and recently got married at 19! Yikes was I concerned. But it has been 5 months now and they are doing great. He is stationed at Oceana VA. He is my youngest of 7, so trust me I have seen pretty much everything!

Welcome aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
