About me:
I am a very proud Mom of my son who has joined the Navy. It will be a year this June. My daughter and I keep close contact with him and he responds when he has a free moment. His father passed when he was young and as much as I miss my son I know in my heart this was the best decision for him, male commarading is very important. My daughter and I support him in whatever he decides to do.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I myself have never enlisted however my grandfather, father, and sister have joined the Navy. My brother and all three of his sons has joined the Army. I am very proud to be an American.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I am glad you are here. It sounds as if your "friend" is not very supportive of you .... we are all here to support you. Know that he did make a great decission to join.

If you are looking for info on the terms that they use on the right of the page is "navy speak", put in the acronym and it will give you the definition.

Let me know if you need anything
