Yah, my daughter's division goes the 28th, and we leave the 28th. We will already be there (coming all the way from Cali) and they don't even start until that night! That's crazy! They can do it!!!

- I am so glad you contacted me. It is nice to know there are others close to home that have children in boot camp. My boy left last week.

At the moment everything is so up in the air. I find my self trying not to cry or get upset but it is so hard. I feel like i am lost in the woods and can't get home. I haven't heard from her in three weeks except for a brief phone call for a doctors phone number and she couldn't talk about anything else and her note. We live in Alabama about 4 hours from Pensacola. If we ever get a chance to see them we can visit Shayna. Pensacola is a beautiful city. Right on the water. I know Carlie can't wait to have free time and spend some much needed time on the beach. I hope Carlie isn't the dirty girl that's getting them in trouble.

Patti A (Billy - Shp 11 Div 025) said… - My son's PIR is 12/18. We believe that he will be coming home for about 14 days prior to reporting to Penscola on or abouts 1/3. I'm betting your daughter hangs around GL for a couple of days after PIR and then heads directly to Pensacola. My son is also a CT, but he is a CTN. If I recall, your daughter is a CTR or CTT.
