Hi Susan,

Thanks for the holiday wishes! Andrea just finished Advanced yesterday and drove home from Milton today, getting in at 10 pm. We have her at home until the 26th, and we are thrilled to have a whole week together! We will be heading to Milton for her winging on Jan 15th.

Enjoy your time with Josh home for the holidays-- Andrea says the kids who get picked for nukes are really smart, you and your husband must be so proud of Josh!

Have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Susan, nice to hear from you. I havent been on the N4M site much this past 6 months. All you moms on here have been a great help to me. Coleton hasnt left for Iraq yet. He was able to come home for a week the end of November and I cherished the time I got to spend with him because it will be over a year the next time I get to see him. He leaves for Texas on Jan. 3rd for 2 months of training and then heads to Iraq in March. He has a few more months state side so I will be ok till then. LOL. I have come to terms (kind of) with him going to Iraq. I know the Good Lord will go with him and that means alot to me. What is Power School that your son is attending? Im guessing it has something to do with him working with the Nukes? Is your son liking the Navy? Coleton loves his job in the Navy. He doesnt know what his job will be in Iraq yet though. Thank you Susan for thinking of me. I will say a prayer for your son and your family. God Bless you and I hope you have a Great Christmas also. Sheryl (bbbeliever)

Hi Susan,

Thanks for the warm welcome! We live in Jensen Beach-- just a hop and skip from Fort Pierce. I would love to have a get together some time. There is so much we can share and learn from one another!

Our daughter is finishing up school in Milton, we are anxiously awaiting her assignment. It sounds like San Diego or Guam. EEEEKKKS! I dont like to fly, so I am hoping for Jacksonville. But most of all, we want her to be happy.

Take care and best of luck to your Son in Nuke School-- I'm sure you are thrilled- he must be a very smart guy!

Susan, Congratulations on Graduation this Friday!!. Time does move on(slowly). Thanksgiving was sad, I am very thankful that we had a large celebration before he left with all the fixens of a Thanksgiving feast. That was our family day and the best one yet! Waiting for the first letter to arrive is torture! I hope he is receiving the ones I have been mailing so he will know we are thinking of him everyday. Have a wonderful trip to Charleston and enjoy your time with Josh.

THANKS Susan! I don't fell like he is really gone, just numb all over. We are going to Miami in the morning to watch the official swearing in and then he flies out to GL. He brought his cell phone so he can call when he gets to the airport and at GL. Again, Thanks very much for the kind thoughts today.

Susan,
I am so glad you added me as a friend. How is your sailor doing? Lets stay in touch! My son is getting settled at Guam. It seems to be a long process. They had a typhoon warning on Monday which had me worried, but I guess that happens alot there. Send me a note when you get a minute. Take care.

Thank you Susan for your kindness. I know I will be fine it is just the intial shock of hearing my son will be in a dangerous country where people really want to kill our boys. Colt is excited to go so i am doing my best to be positive. He is a Master at arms stationed in Wa. state. I have prayed about this and I know God will take care of him. He has alot of common sense and is a christian boy so I know he will be fine. I know Im not the only mother who has to worry and it sure makes it alot easier to have you wonderful ladies to share with. Thank you again and Lord Bless You. Sheryl (bbbeliever)

Thank you Susan. I am moving to Homosassa Springs. It is west FL, 1 1/2 hrs north of Tampa, 30-45 min from Ocala. I am originally from the Jackson area here in MI, but am currently living in southwestern MI. I know where the Alma area is that your husband lived. It is nice up there. It's nice to know that there are other Navy Mom's on the MI website that live elsewhere too.
