He's doing good. He's undesignated but he is doing launch and recovery of aircraft on his ship. He is doing a lot of certifying. he's also taking some college courses. We hope to see him in July.

Susan, have you heard anything new? My son is in Phase II, came back his dorm at 2am and the chief asked for his ID because he smelled of alcohol. They took him to the hospital for a blood test and of course, he had been drinking. Sooo, he can't come home for christmas. He hasn't had his Captain's Mast yet, but he said he will lose his rate, 1/2 months pay for 2 months, 45 days restriction, 45 days extra duty and lose of bonus pay. I'm wondering if this is really what he will get or is this just what the max is. Any info on your son's experience, I would be greatful to know. My son said he is still in Phase II until his Capt. Mast. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for all you thoughts. I got a letter today from the Navy and Katelyne could only write a few lines but it was great to have the 2 lines. I cried like a baby. It was the first thing I got besides her box home. I got her address and Div know I can send the letters and cards that are piling up. Yes me and my husband will attend PIR wouldn't miss it for the world. I am so proud of her. I call he my little peanut she is so short. She is also so athletic. She played Ice Hockey, field hockey. lacrosse and she snowboards and does taekwondo with us she is almost black belt. We sent her to private school thats what she wanted but we paid so much for that she knew we couldn't pay for college and she wants to be a doctor in the Navy. She is Corpsmen and wants to go FMF. What does your son do for a job? Hope to chat soon.
