Jeri,
YES....it most certainly is a BIG deal to go to C-school graduation! {not quite as big as PIR, but still very proud moment}. GO if you can! As far as coming home after, I suppose that depends on whether they have the leave time and their next command can let them take it. My sailor got to spend the weekend with us, but then had to report to his next command! I have some pix on my page from that graduation if you would like to look :)

Hi Jeri, Hope you are doing well! Is your daughter adjusting to A school? Wes seems to be doing great! I just wanted to let you know that we put a chat box feature on the PIR 3/20 site. It is alot easier than having to refresh all the time. Come join us sometime. Take Care, Patty

Hello Jeri,
Yes, I have two sailors. My Chris is my middle son in VA Beach. My daughter is a PS stationed in Kitsap, Washington. She is a twin and her sister lives with me in Ohio while she attends Univ of Akron. My oldest son lives in PA with his wife. Both my boys are married.
How was PIR? Isn't is just awesome?!?!?! I never got to see Chris's because he went to bootcamp in 2003 the first time he enlisted - then he got out and went back in last Dec. But I did get to see my daughter's PIR!!

Jeri, wasn't PIR just the most awesome thing?!!!! You will have to take Kayla back to my page and a couple of the other mom's pages so she can see the guy's pics and introduce herself during the next week or two. Take her to mine, Anna's, Rene's, Valerie's, Suzanne's, and Diane's. She will have to remember faces as we use first names and they use last. ChrisM, ChrisA, Jared, and Wes all know who each other are so if she tells them that you are at this website with us moms they will introduce her to the others I'm sure. She will just have to ask.
Tell her congrats again. We look forward to hearing more.

Tooswife 1,
Hopefully Kayla and Frank will be in the same A school. He thinks they have 9 right now, so if she gets there this week, she should be there when they class up. It is so neat that this is a small school/base and we can get to know each other and out sailors. Let me know when you hear from Kayla....enjoy PIR! Diane
