My husband was in a school when his grandmother passed. Couldn't get out of classes to go to the funeral. Broke his heart. Most Americans do not understand the sacrifices our men and woman endure.. God Bless them all!!!!

With this additional information, sounds a little fishy. The best thing is to talk to him and find out what he confesses. He should have paperwork no matter what the case is, so ask for it. Either leave papers or discharge papers.

Howdy,

My son arrived at GL on Tuesday. Just got his box today. He's headed for Nuke School as an ET after boot camp. My father and grandfather were in the military--Air Force and Navy respectively--but skipped a generation after that. My son is the only one in our family in his generation to join the military. We're excited and proud of him!

Hi Christine,
Skydiving! Yikes. Patrick also wants to be a pilot; I get the feeling they all do. He has had his dream for a long time as well, and was also inspired at an air show when he was 11 years old. He is a physics major and this year's studies has been demanding for him, but he's doing okay. All that high school work that came so easily to him is long gone. This summer he is participating in NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) and is heading on a trek in Wyoming. pretty exciting. My daughter is engaged to an Ensign who just went through OCS and is now in San Diego on a destroyer. She'll be a wife of a Naval Officer which I hope she likes. I feel a little uncertain about her being on her own when he ships out for long periods of time. Do you have any insight on that ? Do you happen to know when 2nd class parent's weekend is ? We didn't visit at all this year, I feel bad. But Patrick had more opportunities to come home this year than last.

Hi fellow mom,
My son is also a youngster this year. He's co.22 . What company is your son in? I was so happy to have him home over spring break. He plays in the pipe and drum band, so they participated in the Boston St. Patrick's Day parade. It was great fun. Look forward to hearing from you.

After that (1998) they put us in Georgia recruiting. When recruiting was over,he went to Jackso… Continue
