Shame On You!!!

I am in such disbelief!!!!!! That you live in America, the land of the free...because your loved one is continuing the fight for that right...and you are in Great Lakes, IL at the Navy PIR watching your loved one begin their journey and you can't be bothered to cross your heart when our National Flag is presented or "gentlemen" be bothered to remove your hat!!! What is wrong?????????? How could this happen at a Navy PIR?????????

Hey Vickie!!! How you doing? I'm fine, Christian is fine, hoping for his a school to start next week. He's in GL still and bored silly. Says they've gotten some light snow but not sticking to the ground, he misses sunny CA although today we were clobbered pretty good with a rain/wind storm. No damage to our home or autos so thank the Lord above. Hope you're well! luv to ya!

Matt got his cell phone today and I just got off the phone with him. He said that they move from their temporary ship on Thursday. He is hoping for the Cole because that is where his best friend is, they will find out tomorrow. He also told me that they will not be doing SEC school because they discontinued that as of this week. So he will be on hold for ATT school and their is no telling how long that will take. How is your son doing?

Hi!!!! I've missed talking with you guys. The trip home was ok, but would have been better if we could have brought Binky with us. She has moved now and can call us, Yay!! She says she could be on hold for about 5 months. How about your trip, and son? He is an ET as well, right?

Hey Vickie! I just wanted to say how nice it was meeting you and Dave. You guys are so nice! We had a lot of fun there this weekend and enjoyed taking our son around Chicago and letting him experience some of what the city had to offer. I made sure and got prices for what doing different things will cost him. They get to ride the bus system, the water taxis and go to the Shedd Aqurium (which was really cool) for free. I hope that you guys had a great time with your son.

Vickie, I was so bummed we missed the meet n greets. I really wanted to meet you. The drive was longer than we had thought and we got a late start on the road. We arrived at the Ramada and Roni texted and said everyone was leaving Flanagans. We got the kids settled in bed and went to the lounge at the Ramada in hopes that someone might still be down there but no luck. So we had a couple beers and headed to bed.

I got my Tshirt thanks so much that was very thoughtful!!!! H called us yeaterday and he is still not sure if he stays in GL or goes to PCola but in either case he wont start school until Oct 12. I will let you know as soon as I know and thatnks again! let me know when you post your pics--i cant wait to see them!!!
