I have been married for 26 years. I have 2 sons. My oldest son joined the Navy December 18, 2007. He is on his first deployment and it is driving me crazy not being able to talk to him.

All my sons moving company is the best. They should be considered super heros. They pad wrap every item in your house to be moved. The employees are awesome, very personable,very strong. If you ever need to move give all my sons moving and storage a call you won't be disappointed I promise.

Hi Vicki,

I hope you are doing well. I haven't heard from you in a while...things are different now. I never got to actually meet you and don't know if I ever will, but I feel like we are friends.... so much has happened in the last couple of months!!!

Bottom line is this - My sweet baby boy is happy, healthy and alive. I wish him nothing but happiness in all that he does with his life, wife and all those who share in his life...isn't that more than any mom could ask for?

I miss him terribly and wish he had come home to us in July instead of OK. I haven't seen him since June 2008, as you know...and do not know when we will get that gift. He now lives in WA.

I pray that you and your wonderful boys (hubby included) are happy and healthy and doing well. Your family had such a huge impact on Nate and I know he loves you all. I know he does.

Well i am glad that you had fun at the base and i wish i could have met you too.. Hopefully we will have other oppertunities! Jordan just called me and invited me to the navy ball in october so i am very excited! Im just nervouse about messing something up or not looking good enough or something! lol I have a beautiful floor length dress but its pink and so i dont know if its appropriate?? Have you been able to hear from J.J. a lot lately? I hope all is well with you and your having a great school year!! =]

That is a heck of a road trip! Glad you got to see him. Hopefully I can make a lunch- much more likely if I'm not on my surgery rotation when it happens. I start family in september so that will be a much lighter month.

Hi how are you doing? I'm in Sapulpa now and doing my third year rotation in surgery at tulsa. It's been crazy busy so I haven't really been on the site in quite a while. Reggie's good, he's getting ready to head to charleston for nuc school soon. It's been awesome to have him home all this time! too bad i'm only home and awake for about 2 hours a day!

I havent been on here in so long. Since they came back i have been so busy with Jordan and his family. I live about 2 hours away from the base so Jordan can come home jst for a couple of days pretty easily, and Its a nice drive up there too. I just went there on monday and got another tour of the ship and finally met some of his friends. Did you enjoy the base? Have you got to spend much time with J.J.? Cant wait to hear from you again=]

yes i was so very excited to finally see him and just have him next to me! 6 months is such a long time to not see someone... it was kind of weird to have him that close to me at first. lol Im sure you just cant wait to see J.J. Thats sad that you wont be there when they come home... But i guess if hes coming home that night it makes since not to waste a whole bunch of money. I was hoping to be able to meet you and the other ladies on here... but its going to be so busy there anyways. I probably wouldn't be able to find anyone. lol My fourth was pretty fun, i just went to our lake here and they had like a festivle thing and then a firework show. i wish i could have spent it with him... but he said it was cool to watch fireworks from the ship. How was your fourth? Well im bringing Jordan's family into town. They came early so we are just visiting. Well i hope you have a wonderful day. =]

Thank you for my happy birthday comment! lol I dont know if you looked at my blog or page yesterday but i got to see Jordan!!! We went to everett and brought him home for the night and his dad brought him back yesterday morning. It was so amazing!!!! We dont have too much longer.. i bet you super excited!! Jordan called yesterday and said one of the ladies from navy for moms recognized him and asked if i was his gf. So he thought that was pretty cool. Do you have any plans for the 4th?? Well im really gona try to get on here more often i miss talking to you guys so much. I hope you are doing really good!!!! =]

Hi Vicki!

Hope you had a good weekend and are able to start your week off right. It is going to be a beautiful day here in MI so I am happy about that. It hasn't even been summer weather yet, so it has been disappointing. How was OKC? I saw the pictures on the Stennis' group page and the band looked like it would have been a lot of fun. I am happy that the boys are back out to sea, I do miss being able to call Mike, but it just means they are getting closer and closer to coming home!! Have you made all your plans for when James comes home? Mike and I have a lot to do and only 6 days to do it, so hopefully we can get everything done. Well happy Monday! Take care
