Wrong Address!

Ok so my bf's recuiter gave me and his mom the address to write him with his ship # and division on it and we instantly started sending him letters. But soon after his mom gets a letter from him with a DIFFERENT address!! Now we're worried that he didn't get our letters. Is this normal? And will he still be able to receive our letters?

Fair Winds and Following Seas MasterChief

My father was one of the first MasterChiefs in his rate. I never understood that there weren't always Master Chiefs, and not everyone got to be one until much later in my life. Dad was an aviation hull mechanic originally and became an AirCraft Maintenanceman Master Chief. A great honor! He served 29 years in the Navy, beginning with WWII as a young 18 year old, through Korea and Vietnam. We were stationed in Hawaii during Vietnam, he would fly down "in country" once a month and swap supplies… Continue

pir 7-30-10

I really hope your son pulls through his ankle injury and is fine for his upcoming pir. I do know that they work very hard at helping them to grad on time for everyones sake. They say no news is good news so if you did not hear anything, assume everything is fine. Good luck to you and your son.

PIR 09/02/10 Ship 04 Div 292

My brother's packet of info came in the mail over the weekend. Anyone else have a family member on ship 04; div 292?

I'm really excited to start writing to my brother. I miss him a great deal. He wrote a little note on the "note" section on that packet and what he wrote made me feel very worried about him. He didn't make it sound like things are as good as we'd hope. Hopefully he writes me soon so I can know more how he's feeling. I did…

Kid In A Box (Travis H.)

I just received my "kid in a box" today from FedEx there was nothing in the box about an assignment (ship). Am I expecting to much, he just left on the July 15. I am in the process of writing cards, letters and now have a stack of mail from friends and family to send to him as soon as I can. Does this information come later in an envelope or what do I do now? Just wait.
