Anyones child in ship 03 division 11?

My son is in this group graduating on Nov. 17th. I was hoping to find other parents to share information back and forth with. I got my form letter a few days ago and still no call. I read on this site somewhere that it could be nearly 20 days or more before we hear from them.

Son leaving today 9/19/17

Ok so right now he's at MEPS. ETA in GL around 5 or 6ish. I'm seeing they only get 4 tickets to graduation. Is this correct? Is there a way to get more? This upset him when he found out. For those with extended families, divorces, remarriages. Lord how will he choose? Plus I'm going through a gambit of emotions. Lol so for him to be upset, upsets me more.

My son left last Tuesday for bootcamp.  When can I expect a call and information on how to write him?  His birthday is Oct. 1.  Should I send treats, or is this not a good idea?  Thanks! Susa

Well my girl turned 18 in boot camp today. I hear that can be a bad thing and you could possible get extra PT to do, sure hope this didn't happen to her. On the light side, I got a letter today and it said she is doing better since her last letter. My heart is happy!

Navy Federal Credit Union

Good Morning - I am wondering if anyone else has had issues with Navy Federal Credit Union.  Our sailor is on deployment and before he went we went to a lawyer to have power of attorney paperwork done so that we could help him do things while he was away.

We didn't have any problems until recently.  Our sailor was online and locked himself out of his account (guess he forgot his password) so I tried to go online and reset.  Wasn't able to.  Took our power of attorney paperwork to the…

Sending Letters

My Son has PIR coming up on September 15th, when will be a good time to stop sending him letters? I've read that the last two weeks of BC can be very busy. I don't want to write more letters than he will be able to receive or have time to read. Any advice will help. Thanks.

Daughter leaving for boot camp on August 31, 2017

Hello everyone, I haven't been posting on this site although I have been reading all of the questions and answers that have been posted. I've learned very helpful information. We found out today that my daughter will be leaving on August 30 for boot camp. I'm not sure which group to join- leaving in August or leaving in September. I thought maybe both to be safe. Her recruiter told her that graduation would be in 8 weeks of her ship date but I've seen on here it would be 9 weeks. I'm…

extra guest for graduation

My daughter would like her brother to come to graduation but we do not have enough tickets. Her recruiter told me to have her ask someone that isn't using all of theirs to add him to their list. However, I hear we get a packet we have to fill out so I'm wondering how that would work???  Do any of you senior moms know if it is possible to add an extra person?

3rd week phone call

We got our 3rd week phone call last night. I hadn't even gotten a letter yet so i wasn't quite expecting the call. She was in tears. She's not a crier so this is very hard to take as a mom. She said last week was better than the week before. I had lots of questions and before I knew it our 10 minutes was over. I didn't crack on the phone as I reminded her its only 8 weeks. I told her she has what it takes to make it, that she is strong and can do this and to keep her head high. Then I hung…
