Matt just made his first phone call. We got to talk for 30 min. It was so good to hear his voice. He sounds so grown up. He is doing well. Just took his first test and scored high. The division got a flag for doing well over all.He is going to be second stick but I don't know what flag he is carrying yet. I'm so proud of him. He is still homesick but adjusting and making friends. I can't wait til graduation to see him. Continue

I just got the second letter today. This one sounds more upbeat than the first one which makes me happy. Matt is starting to make some friends and says the division is coming together . He is also colorblind, who knew? It doesn't affect his job so thats good. He wants me to send him all the football scores. lol If you knew him this is so typical. Can't wait for graduation.
