Kbpoohbear's Blog – June 2018 Archive (5)

June 18

I got home yesterday from watching my son graduate from Bootcamp. I was shocked to see a man standing in front of me.  He had a confidence that I have not see before (he had plenty of cocky before). The ceremony was beautiful. I am so proud that my son worked hard and stuck to it and is now going to A school. I can not correctly describe the feels and emotions. Anyone reading my blog, encourage your SR. Tell them it is worth it. Navy Moms has been a blessing in helping me get through this. …

Div 248 - I have a sailor! Everyone in that division passed!  I am too excited to type!!

I am better now. My Sailor will be a MMN and going to Goose Creek. I thought it was for about 1 1/2 years but found out today it is more like 2 years. So I have 2 years before I worry about not hearing anything for months to years. I can't wait for him to get to use his phone. Texting and emailing will be a blessing. I know the hard stuff isn't over but boot camp was…

Battlestation here my SR comes! 5 days before graduation and I am positive my son has passed the final Fitness. Starting tomorrow, I will be on pins and needles waiting for my call. He is in a lower number so I won't have to wait long, hopefully. I feel bad for those whose SR are in a higher number. My graduation ribbons arrive on Monday. I hope I can get one to my sister in time for her to wear during graduation. I am trying not to squeal but it is hard. Hooyah - Go J Go!

So far no news, We made it to Tuesday! My SR is in a lower number Division in the graduation line and by my GUESS he has done his run and so far no news. I actually think we are in the clear unless they are waiting for tomorrow to have him call. I will relax at this time tomorrow but feeling better. I wrote him a Sandboxx today and have 1 more before graduation.  I need to think of something to say in both that and the final written letter. We…

I left town so I haven't had time to blog and no news to blog (hallelujah). I am getting nervous because I know the final Fitness test is soon or happened. It will be his final chance. I am trying to relax but Friday I was jumpy nervous. My phone would ring and I would panic. Today I am better and expect will be fine tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday?? Can I relax by Wednesday? I know I am driving myself nuts. I am my own worst enemy. I need to relax because after he was no longer sick he said he…
