It seems odd to say it but I think we're 'used' to P being gone now. It's still hard but it's not the day-to-day longing and missing him like it was. His chores are acclimated into our own routines and the dogs aren't sitting by the door, waiting for him to come home. Knowing he's out of boot camp, almost done with A school helps. And it seems like we talk with him more now than before. Our City offers banners for military and P's got put up just in time for his 4th of July homecoming weekend. Continue
