We did this on Saturday to Honor our Military personnel. Previously serving and currently serving, those that have gotten out and those that are and have been POW's and those that have fallen during war and peace. We went to the cometary that my Godparents are buried. Very emotional. I am so glad that we went - they played taps and had the honor guard. My girl heads to HI tomorrow. I have no idea when I will see her again. I live in VA and times are tight not sure that I will have the money to go see her. Wish me luck in my heart break. Continue

My sailor wants to act as if she can come and go as she pleases which she can do - to a point. I still have younger children at home - Becka wants to have her Navy boyfriend spend the night. (NOT married not staying in the same room). Then she is wanting to add this person that she has known for 2 months on to her cellphone plan. She is going to HI. She will be shore duty on Oahu. I am thrilled that she is going somewhere she has never been - sadly (for her) though her boyfriend that she met in A-School who she filled out her dream sheet with - did not get HI he will be here in Norfolk about 4 hours from me. She leaves the beginning of Aug for now I am enjoying having her home. Continue

Well, Since I came back from PIR things just seem to have spiraled downwards as far as my health goes. I am now preparing for my first colonoscopy. Not something that I am looking forward too. Man I can still smell that lemonade smell. I did not like lemonade before and I do not think I ever will. My blood pressure is high and I have been bloated what feels like forever and on top of it all. I miss my sailor. I miss talking to her I miss holding her when she has had a bad day. Its been 1 week since my Sailor graduated. I have not heard from her since Sunday. Honestly, I so wish that I had left her phone with her. Just so that I could call and find out what is going on. I am thrilled that she is out of BC but this is the same silence as before - I really do not know what to do. Her Recruiters are pointless - at least every time I call I get the same information which is they do not know much. I really am having a tough time with waiting. My blood pressure is staying high to the point that my face is red and worrying some of my co-workers. My anxiety is starting and I think I just might have to take a Xanax which I have not taken since Feb. I need a hug. Continue

For some reason today is just a really rough day. I know that I will see her soon - PIR 4/18 - but I am missing her tremendously today. I just want to hear her voice, touch her face give her a hug. Mom is just not doing so hot right now. Continue

What it was like for my Mom when I went into the Army. The not knowing is hard. I miss Becka, I miss her smile, her laugh and most of all her hugs. What I would do for one more hug. Continue
