My Marine, Nickolas recieved First in Class", and a promotions to Lance Corporal"

Nicks' graduation from LVS school in Mo. was last Thurs. He surprised me, with being first in his class, recieving the Honors' Award and a new promotion to LCPL. It was a wonderful day. He is now stationed at Camo LeJuene, NC. We are waiting to see if he will be deployed to Afgan. in May, as that was his last Word' on possible deployment Monday. It was wonderful to see him!

....I just can't believe he kept the promo". and Honors" a secret from me...I saw him around midnight the night before grad.he said nothing.....as you can see, I was VERY happy.......

Talked to Nickolas yesterday, he seems happy in NC. Heard new deployment date was pushed back...He has 2 roomates, and the weather has been great. Day to day' living right now, new orders every day...
