Navy For Moms

my son called two days ago saying he might have sprained his ankle was going to the dr. and would call me back with the news. We either talk or text every day. He has not contacted me at all and his phone is off which he never has off. He is not out at sea. He is in the U.S. How would I found out what is going on or am I making this out of something it's not? I'm going crazy wondering what is wrong. Please help

You can call your son's unit they should be able to help you.
You sound as though you are panicked (as most of us would be). I asked my husband about your question (he is former military - recently retired) and he reminded me that if your son is in the hospital his phone would be turned off. Hope all ends up well with you and your son.
