DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

So, after some great suggestions- we have added a new category called “The Daily Brief” in the forums. It's for updates of news and announcements that affect the Navy community. (Let's keep this one non-political... if you have political news you want to share- please move it to the Scuttlebutt catagory.)

Sure- I would say human interest- story's that are interesting but not really tied in with heavy politics. New ships, Humanitarian stories, and just worthy stories that say something interesting. I don't know how this turned into a ship 17 thread so quickly... None of these stories have to do with recruiters. They are about talk-worthy events, people and things in the Navy already. I am glad N4M’s provides you the outlet you need. This is just another need that requested by members to be fulfilled.

I love all the comment above...and agree...In any business {the navy is a business} there are people who are willing to "step on toes" to get what they want..but there are also those who are mentors for those who wish to achieve greatness. With every situtation there is always the "good-bad-ugly" we just all hope they we will all fall in with the good....

sorry didn't finish.
I understand some parents have a bad taste in their mouths about the military. But from what I have seen so far.....the good here weighs out the bad. Recruiters work..and work for the Navy it is not a cushy job...they went through it all Boot camp, schooling etc.. So my hat is off to all Military personnal....
