This week has actually been really depressing for me. I don't think Robert understands the amount of stress I am dealing with. I know he is in A-school now and busy, but I just wish he would consider asking me how I am doing. All we talk about is him. He didn't even tell me that his orders changed when he found out. He was only going to be in Pensacola for 45 days but apparently the other day he found out he is going to be there for 6-8 months. All I am doing here at home is planning my future around HIS so it's important for me to know these things. I am doing this because I love him and I want to, but he has no idea how much I am sacrificing. I guess I am just upset because it seems like he doesn't care. I hope everything will be fine, but with his mother constantly nagging him about me, I just don't know anymore. I wish she would just leave us alone and let him make his own decisions. I really need some advice..I am trying so hard to make them happy, and they don't even realize it.

RobertsGirl, I think what Kate is referring to is to post this in the section of "Girlfriends/Wives/Fiances."   I see you are a member of this group......and I just looked at it.  It's very active and I even seen a posting by another loved one who's going through what you are.  Good luck!

I talked to Robert, and things seem like they are going to be fine. I just needed to get my feelings out! And it actually helped when I was able to talk to him. Thanks for the advice! I'll go to the group next time! Loveee this site! It's so good to have all the support

LOL. Men are really clueless sometimes. Yes, life does revolve around them at this time. No, they are not alway aware of the sacrifices the wives/fiancees/gfs made. Now, don't hit him over the head with it. Gentle reminders would better. This is all new to him - at times, he too will be over whelmed. He should let you know as soon as he can. Some guys are real good at that; others you have to train. As for his mother - I don't know what to say because my husband and I have always gotten along with our sailor's gf (we hope he'll make it official soon).  She probably just misses him terribly. After all, Robert is not only beginning a new adventure but he is beginning a new adventure w you by his side. We have always taken a step back but not all mothers are able to do that when the son is just 18.  So cut her some slack. When you get info, call her - keep her up to date - share photos. Good luck. You two are very cute together.

@BunkerQB, Haha Thank you very much :) Yeah I just realized that he is being a guy, clueless! He has been doing great in A-school which is awesome, but things with his mother have taken a turn for the worst. I hope that it will all go back to normal eventually because we used to get along SO well! She was practically planning our wedding! Now I am just taking it day by day, and getting stuff done for myself as well as being there and supporting Robert. I am going to Pensacola to see him next weekend!! I am SO excited, just a little stressed trying to figure out how I am going to get there! My car hasn't been very nice lately..haha.
