Does anyone know if we can send our boys a calling card? Matt didn't leave with one and our phone service doesn't take collect calls? Can he buy one there? If anyone knows please let me know. Did your boys call collect or did they have a calling card? Just hearing his voice would be so great! Until then I will keep reading his letter:) Thanks to all the moms that have been so much help. Can't wait to meet all of you. God Bless!

Hi Matt's mom...this may sound crazy, but as I was writing my son my husband was reading your message. My heart sank for you. Know you want a phone call like everyone else. Anyway, I put on the bottom of Bryce's note to look for a Matt without a phone card. To please give Matt his card to call home. Of course it won't get there for a few days, but you never know. Hope it helps. Also, since we don't have last names, I couldn't tell him. Good luck. Can't wait to meet everyone at PIR.

I know when Ben called he had a phone card that he purchased at the NEX(navy Exchange). After that we sent him one for 500 minutes. We got it at Wal-Mart. He now has his cell phone at A-school at Fort Meade, MD. Ben made his first phone call home a week after he was there. They need to be on good behavior. Phone calls are earned.

Has anyone heard anymore from their kids? I have only received letters and 1 phone call. Also does anyone know when Hell week is (that is what the refer to it as)? I read that they will call after that week to let the parents know that they are sailors. Thanks
