Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Counting down....
Counting down by days almost, my baby has been gone 5 weeks and in 3 more he no longer will be my little man, he become a man standing up for the freedom of his nation. Nothing can make me more proud of my son. He always has been a hard working student, stay out of trouble and achieving big things during his school time. I remember one time getting a letter in the mail stating one of his highschool teachers had nominated him for Merit in his Sophomore year and gave us the opportunity to see my babies photograph and name in a year book with the best students within the United States. Words cant say how proud we all are what he has become s far. I see myself searching the web on a daily basis if I can get to catch a glimps of him on any pictures RTC is posting and getting all info bout what he has gone through so far how his days might been. Im hoping to get another phone call today. Last Saturday was almost exact same time as when he had called the first time (not the 15 sec, Mom im here call). Hang in there ladies, once first couple weeks went by and received the box n the form letter, you see yourself busy in trying to get all done and situated for your SR's PIR and try see what you might be able to do and how spend his/her liberty together. so much to think of.

Thank you ... And your welcome, everyone in here I got to talk to so far is very encouraging, glad this page exists and new military moms get help to see how all this works. What is your child's PIR and rate if I may ask
