OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

DUTY STATION....answers answers please!
Currently, Jake is at a-school in pensacola, fl
He has NOT gotten his orders yet and we planned on him cominog home in July so we could get married BEFORE he got his orders so I could be on them.
BUT, because of the regulations with marriage licensing in the state I live in, it doesnt seem that it is going to work out, because he wont be home during open office hours at the county clerks office.
SO, we are talking about waitng until he is done with A-School and to get married when he is on leave. BUT, I have heard that if I am not on his orders is makes it harder for me to go with him to his first duty station. ALSO, is it true that if he gets his orders to international, that I will NOT be able to go with him, even if we are married right after he gets his orders?
Right now, we have 3 options
1. Cut our guest list from 60 people to 20 people and get married in tahoe because they issue marriage license on the weekend.
2. I go to flordia, get married and give up my entire dream of having a real wedding...( kinda doing that with #1 too...)
3. Wait till he comes home on leave and get married then, but risk him getting stationed internationally and me not being able to go with him...
ADVICE? INFO??

I really don't know much about the rules but maybe you should consider going to FL and get married there and then have the ceremony when he comes home for leave. You would be on his orders sooner and get to have the ceremony you have been planning. The best of both!! Good luck and congratulations.

hey you guys thanks for advice..
I found a place about 2 hours from where I live with a beautiful and affordable wedding venue and they do on site marriage licensing (like vegas or reno) and we booked a date. now we are just waiting on his chit to get approved! we are hoping everything goes according to plan! keep your fingers crossed for us!!
