OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I believe you are paying it forward.  I'm a few weeks behind you.  I look ahead for the "seasoned" to guide me through.  I look at the blogs and offer whatever words I can to those who trail me. You are an amazing support for your brother and should be so proud of you as well.  Our son left behind a younger sister, 17, and she is missing her friend as well.  All the best to you and your brother!
