Hi everybody:  has anyone else's FS said they are not receiving letters?  I have received three from my son and they have arrived in like three day.  He however, has not received any of the seventeen I have mailed to him starting on 11/20/17.  I started writing letters after he said he arrived and was safe. I received his address on the 17th of November and I mailed all the letters individually on 11/20/17.

please let me know if anyone knows the reason why or has this same situation.

Thank you,

It is VERY common for recruits to indicate that they have not received any letters when they write the first letter or two. Don't worry the mail will catch up and he will soon be receiving mail in every Mail Call so keep those letters headed his way.

Sunshinegirl, you can find the form at the Security Access Form.

Check your My Page.

Letters sent through the Sandboxx App are not overnighted, but they do arrive faster for some depending on where you are located since the letters originate in Arlington, VA. The letters enter the mail system going to the RTC the same as any letter sent to the RTC. There is info on the Sandboxx App and more in Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.

We received our sons address on 3/12 and have been sending letters since the 13th, however just received our first letter from him today and his address is slightly different. The name of the ship is now on line 2 between his ship and division numbers. Not sure if any of our other letters got to him...would just having the ship number and division numbers on the address still reach him?

The Ship name is not important for the delivery of the mail.

Good to know! Thank you!
