Merry Christmas and soon to be a Happy New Year!

Soon my son will be graduating from boot camp. His letters and phone calls have put my heart at ease (as much as it can be.) They are funny he talking about some of his roomies and wanted to see if I could connect with anyone from his division. And if anyone will be going to the Meet and Greet the night before at the Sundance Saloon put on by "Sarge" whoever he is.  My son said he swears one guy next to him gets the same jokes I send him and he thinks we are talking on line. They think it is quite funny and my son actually thinks this guy is cool. So if your son's name begins with a B my son is friends with him and they are doing fine.

Hi bela02,

They went to I believe a VFW. You can find pictures on facebook. In the search area type in combined veterans web. Request friends. You might be able to view pictures without friending but not sure. Then go to photos, then albums. There are 2 albums for this years 2012 Christmas. Lots of nice pictures. Hope you find a picture of your son. I found several of mine. They all look like they are having fun. I believe they went to a couple of different places.

I see you have joined the group, PIR 01/04/2013 TG 8 - 9 Divisions (045-052 and 908); you may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.

Sarge can be found on here as OldSarge and you can find out more about him on his page by clicking on his name.

EagleMom2, I tried that web site you gave me. But could not find any pics of my son. Is it possible that they were split up and went to different places?

Hi bela,

I'm not sure. I know my son said there were like 40 something guys using one nice persons cell phone to call their families to let them know where they were and the website and that they would call again. Did you check out both albums for 2012. I hope you find him.
