OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We're looking to talk to some moms about their experience with Navy life and NAVYForMoms.com. If you have a great story you're like to share, send me a PM! Tell me a little bit about yourself and your Sailor and be sure you include a phone number we can reach you at along what times you’re available to chat. Depending on the response we get, we might use a few stories in some upcoming media opportunities ☺ (With your permission, of course!)

Looking forward to hearing from you!
