Hey Navygirlfriend, my boyfriend is in Ship 6 Div 117. I saw that's the same as yours. It's super hard being away him. I just got my first letter today. It was nice finally being able to hear from him! It feels like it has been forever since he left. But if you need anyone to talk to, feel free to message me!

There is so much info on this site that will help with all your questions.  I'm sure more people will send you in the right direction.  This site is easier for me on a computer or tablet at first.  There are groups on here that you can join and with the groups are pages that help you read up on what you can be expecting.  There is a "graduation date (PIR) group, also a girlfriend and wives group.  Like I said someone more knowledgeable  will guide you in the right direction.  This is a difficult time that your going through and it helps to lean on those that might understand a bit.

It is the hardest thing not being able to hear from them. My fiance left a few weeks ago for the next six months or so, and I worry so much about him. Don't listen when people say you won't make it. The time apart can strengthen your relationship. You can alway message me if you need someone to talk to. I've realized I have been needing someone who understands what I'm going through to talk to too
