I have a pear tree in my yard and my mail woman picks a pear every day to eat on her route. When I hear the dog bark at her I meet her at the front door looking for my form letter so that I can send my letters to my son. I imagine she dreads stopping at my house knowing the letter is not in my mail.  My son was sworn in Sept. 18th and I did'nt think it would take this long. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.

Debbie, did you go to Rosemont?  My daughter and I were there, we watched the bus pull away...hardest and proudest day of my life!!

Yes my husband and I arrived at MEPS in Rosemont at 8 am and were still there when he got on the bus. He was one of the first group in to be sworn in. and we "couched" it the rest of the time.  My son is 20 yrs old. He wanted to join right after high school but we asked for 2 yrs of community college in his chosen field of electrical and if no jobs were available we would talk the service.

Debbie, my son just graduated on Sept 21st.  I think it was almost 2 weeks before the form letter came.  Hold on to it, it has valuable info in it you will need for graduation!
