Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

One more Easter B4 Annapolis

Oh my, God has a bittersweet sense of humor. I had decided I was not going to cry in church today. Yup.... Made that decision before I went. Yup... sure did. Crazy schedule getting there, and Scott went ahead to save 4 seats so we could all sit together. Turns out... no one, goes to the early service. Be that as it may. 2 rows ahead of us was a kid in his NJROTC jacket from a neighboring school. Was fine until they got to the song "How Great is Our God" . Lost it then... I realized how great God really is. Scott is going to Annapolis come July 1st. Not sure how.... As we look at what stiff competition he faced. I am in awe. Apparently that is where he is supposed to be. I realize this is our last "little boy" Easter we will celebrate... Actually that happened when Scott found out that the Easter Bunny is really Easter Mommy. But none the less, we have kept it going for his younger brother who is still 6. My husband could not really understand why I was giving Scott an Easter Basket complete with a solid chocolate bunny. Oh God, one more time... so grateful for one more time. I seem to see things about my son in a whole new light. I realize how, when he was growing up, and the business of being a single mom for many years before I remarried kept me from truly enjoying and cherishing those moments. I promise you, I sure do now. I have begun to cherish these last few days with Scott more than you know.

On another note, Scott came home from visiting his dad in MO. He flew back on Sat, He told me today that his dad gave him a solid chocolate Easter Bunny too. Only this genius ate the ears off and packed it in his suitcase. Did you know a solid chocolate Easter Bunny, with no ears looks like plastic explosives at the airport detection centers? Go figure.... I am sending my lump of clay to the Navy to be molded beyond what I can do. How sweet is is.
