Hello!  I know what you mean.... our day is today as well.  My husband took our son to the recruiting office today and they leave for MEPS then off to the San Diego hotel.  I feel so in the dark about where we go and when we get to see him off, so confusing....  we have our hotel near by since everything was booked but still have no clue what will happen and when???  Is your daughter leaving out of San Diego as well?  When do we find out what group or division they are, or do we know when they actually get to Illinois?  So nervous :/

Thank you so much LadyHawk! It's hard not to cry in front of her. we just got home from leaving her at the hotel, and tomorrow i promised I won't cry at the swear in. My boys had to say say their final goodbye today to their big sis, its been so emotional! I know with friends like you, the transition will be less painful.

Hello BRETT'SMOM!

We live in Texas, so she"s flying from here tomorrow afternoon around 3pm. We just got home from leaving her at the hotel near our home, and tomorrow we go see her at the swear in around 10 am. We then are going to see her at the airport as she heads out...I've been crying every hour it seems, my eyes look like I was in a boxing match. Don't worry, you will receive the first call when they arrive to Great Lakes, if he has a phone he can talk to you as he lands at Ohare airport.
