My son is on that SHIP and  DIV

I have so many questions for anyone. And would like to have input on some things.

I miss my son so much .I can't wait for Graduation to see him. When should I get my hotel or plane tickets?

what is that special word for ? when or where do I use it? the one in the first letter he sent.

monica, get your hotel and plane reservations ASAP.  You may want to use an airline, such as Southwest, that does not charge if you have to change your flight.  The password in the form letter is for you to get the vehicle gate pass if you are driving onto the RTC for PIR.  About 11 days before PIR the link to download the vehicle/gate pass will be posted at http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp. You will need to enter the password from the form letter using all capital letters and then print the vehicle pass and handwrite in the information to fill in the blanks. You can print off more than one vehicle pass if your Sailor's guests will be arriving in more than one vehicle or just to be certain that you know where one is.

Thank you so much for the info.   I did get a hotel it's just far from where the PIR is. I would like to rent a car but will the pass work for that car ?

Donna, join the group, PIR 12/21/2012 TG 6 - 10 Divisions (031-038, 803 & 904), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  There will be a discussion within that group for that division after a while.

You may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here.

monica, yes, you can use the vehicle gate pass with a rental car.  You will need to have your rental agreement available if you are asked for registration and proof of insurance at the gate.

Hi everyone sorry I haven't been on been really busy lately!!! But has anyone received calls yet??? Do any of y'all know when there bs is???
Comment by lemonelephant on November 21, 2012 at 7:29pm

If anyone does know when BS-21 will be, please PM it to her.  We are not to post BS-21 dates openly.

Sometimes diannep sends out a PM to the PIR group to let them know if she has been given the dates.  You might check in the group and see if she or someone else can PM you or send the info in the body of a Friend Request message (you would read it and don't have to accept the Friend Request unless you want to).
