You have placed him in the best hands of all--those of God and the US Navy.

Hold him in your heart and in your prayers until you can hold him in your arms again at PIR for a huge hug as a US Navy Sailor!

Check your My Page.

First time on this site.  I feel great about it since I can't seem to get the support I need from my family and friends. I feel like I am amongst mothers that can relate. My son will be leaving March 8th for BC really leaving home on the 7th.  Tonight is his birthday so I, we did get to celebrate with him and I am grateful for that.  I have been a single mother and have raised 2 wonderful sons.  With my son leaving in 20 days I will be a empty nester. I don't have a husband or boyfriend so I don't have anyone that will be here with me.  I already miss my son and he isn't even gone yet.

I am so glad my friend turned me on to this site.  I will be here a lot, tears and all.  I feel like a blubbering idiot. Thank you for reaching out.  I am not familiar with how all this works yet but will figure it out.  I also don't know any of the acronyms used here to understand what is being discussed.  BC bootcamp, A school training for their job. I will be a pro in time.  I have a lot to learn but it will be fun.
