The best present I could get for Christmas (Ship 14 Div 098)

I didn't realize how much I would love my daughter's dirty clothes until now lol. Just to smell her scent on her jacket brought tear's to my eye's. Then having her mail coming shortly after did it for me, Heavenly Father I just ask that  you to cover each and every one of these sailor's from sun up to sun down and keep them safe Lord. I'm still suffering from seperation anxiety but i'm sure i'll make it through for this is all new too me..

Join the group, PIR 02/08/2013 TG 13 - 14 Divisions (089-100, 806 and 913) (clickable link), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  Know that Divisions 097 and 098 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.  There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.

I am so thankful to read your post. My son will leave in May for BC. As we celebrate Christmas my heart is so heavy this morning just thinking about the years ahead. He has been a part of my daily life since he was born. I feel so selfish at times for my feelings, because I know that this is part of Gods plan for his life. Yet, my heart is breaking! Anxiety just gets the best of me sometimes. I am his biggest supporter, but sometimes I just lose it!

Please pray for me and all of us. As I just said a prayer for you also. "Be still and know I am God" and "For I know the plans I have for you" just give me peace through Him, but my heart still aches. God bless and Merry Christmas to all!

Least2308, Enjoy the time with your future Sailor.  You may wish to join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in May. You will meet others with loved ones leaving the same day/week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together. Be sure to check out the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month Before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC. I also suggest you join Boot Camp Moms and New Members Stop Here and check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions there.

Your future Sailor may want to join http://www.navydep.com to learn the ins and outs from the DEP point of view. Craig runs that and will steer him to some good links on there.

Least 2308 I know exactly what you mean. My son leaves in Feb. Something was said at the Christmas dinner table today and I broke down. I really thought I had a handle on it, but I kept watching him open presents today and I knew I would cry at some point. And I did! I had to go close myself in the bathroom and pray for a minute.
