My son arrived on Monday 6/12.  I got my call that night and he sounded tired.  Wonder why??  Ha! I received the box on Thursday.  No letter yet.  I don't know if he will write, but I am sending him writing materials, just in case:)  It's just so hard not knowing how he is, has he made any friends, is it what he thought it would be. He had a friend leave 2 days after and I wonder if they will see each other. He has been 8 hours away at college the last 4 years, but I still talked to him every week. I know he is OK, just think of him all the time.

I need to start writing now so I can get the letters in the mail as soon as I get the letter! Hugs to you, too!

How will they receive them from the app?  Do they have access to tech?

Just downloaded the app.  It's awesome!

I've read great things about the Sandboxx app. I have already downloaded it. Just waiting for my son's info now.

I told him to expect a mixture of both...quick notes from the app and more detailed, handwritten ones. Excited to see how the app works.

I will def let his friends know about it.  I am sure he will be happy to receive letters from friends.  I was planning on letting them know his address once I received it.  Anything to keep their spirits up!
