For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Update on the coming month!
Well, Andrew has his orders and he is in Great Lakes, IL for his schooling. Right now he is doing N DOC this week. He says he will class up thursday or Friday. He schooling should start soon. We are expected in San Diego, CA in August. Original orders were to report to SD no later than August 16th. But because they have him doing N DOC all this week he doesn't start his actual schooling until next week. But I'm very excited about our move. I started some packing, but Andrews brother said that the Navy will pack our stuff up(since we're having them move our things). So could anyone help me on this one? I don't know what the whole process is for moving our things. Who do I contact to let them know or do I just let my husband tell them?

Do NOT pack anything other than what you will carry yourself. If you pack things, the damage/loss insurance won't cover your "packed by owner" items. STOP packing! Instead, sort things out, throw away, give or sell anything you won't want or need. They will pack the trash if you let them, so make sure your home has nothing like that the day of your packout.
Place ALL the stuff you are taking with you in a locked room or car. Your purse, your luggage, your small valuables, important paperwork. They will pack it up if it is near the other stuff in your house.
Your husband can arrange the packout day. Wives can do it also, but you have to have a copy of his orders and it is done differently than when I had to do it. They should provide a checklist of what to do, what can and cannot be packed out.
Warning: be sure your home is relatively clean. My friend had dirty dishes in the sink, dirty laundry and the place was a mess, melted candles, empty wine bottles. They refused to do the packout! His sister had to do a POA and arrange it a week later after massive cleaning.
