Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

We got our first letter today!!
I was super excited to see a letter from my brother in the mail today!! It was soo nice to hear from him.. eases my mind a bit. Sounds like he's doing pretty good and is staying optimistic. He said the people in his division are a "rowdy bunch" and that he is "no angel". Oh boy! lol. He said he has a few new "buddies".. and that they've really helped him get through the first couple of weeks. That makes me feel about 200% better about things. When he left, it was really hard to stop the tears (thinking my baby brother was leaving.. knowing no one.. and I wasn't there to protect him) but as each day goes by and as things happen.. it is getting so much easier and I'm feeling more anxious and excited for my brother's new path in life. I do miss him more than anything but we only have 6 weeks left until we see him :) I love you, Jordan. Stay safe, stay strong.. and remember I miss you!

I've written him 3 letters so far and working on my 4th. I told him in my many of letters not to worry so much about writing me if he doesn't have the time and that I'll keep writing him no matter what. Me and my brother are extremely close... we lived together, worked together, did things together, talked every single day. A lot of his friends are my friends and my friends are his friends. It's very hard having him away.. but I do know what he's doing is an amazing thing and I'll never doubt his ability to do great things for this country. I just can't wait for boot camp to be over with because at least then there won't be a communication barrier! Thanks for the comment and kind words... It means the world to me :) Hugs right back at you!

I'm so happy you got a letter from your brother, I hope I get one from Steven tomorrow or this week sometime. I hope Steven is one of his buddies, I'll let ya know if I get a letter or phone call.
