P.S. You can go back and include a title. If you are the creator of the blog, simply open up the blog, then click "Options" on upper right, then click "Edit", insert your title (10 words or less - the more concise the better - title should really describe what your blog is about), then click "save" ..........

Actually, if you don't put in a "Post Title" the site puts in the first 200 characters, not just the first sentence. Yes, it is important to keep posting.

Once again, awesome advice Bunker. When I first found and started using this site, the blog section was used for random posts, great news, and topics not found under the "forums" section of the site.

If someone has a specific question/concern, I think it is easier for everyone to use the forums section of the site under the specific topics available. You are more likely to receive at least a few responses from other members.

Using a "post title" and keeping the title short as Bunker has posted is VERY important! You will attract more attention to your post and receive more replies using this method.

Also, finding and posting under your specific ship/division if your SR is in bootcamp (as an example) will help you get to know other mom's/loved ones in your ship and/or division. This was VERY helpful to me when my son was in bc, and the real treat was meeting these other mom's at both the meet and greet and PIR!! :-)

Once you are past the bootcamp stage, using and posting under the "GROUPS" available (there are TONS....click on the Group tab at the top of the page) helps to make the most of YOUR personal experience with a loved one in the Navy and using this site . Example: I live in Washington State. I joined the "Washington/Oregon" group and have found other moms in my area to meet and get to know.

As Bunker posted...KEEP POSTING!!!! The way I look at it, there is never a dumb question unless it's not asked.
