That is a cute story about the calendar. I have a little stuffed bulldog puppy and I have a real bulldog that lives inside---if she sees me pick up the stuffed animal she goes nuts and the minute I put it down she hides it---dumb dog she usually hides it in my husbands shoe!!! I am so sorry to hear you are a Gator fan!!! just kidding We are big time ALABAMA fans!!! My sons bedroom is an ALABAMA room---he wanted the trim painted in crimson and the painter actually went out and bought an ALABAMA hat just to take it to the paint store to make sure he got the right color---he was a very nice man and when he finished the room and saw the decorations we had for it he gave my son some old newspapers from the 60's with Bear Bryant in them and we had them framed for his room----ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
You have to love those little smushed up faces!!! I am glad to meet someone who likes them everybody I know says they are ugly!!!! You need to get your kids a bulldog they are so sweet. I have a male this is in love with my husband and everytime my husband watches a football game the dog has to sit next to him and he insists that my husband hold his hand(paw)the whole time--and it is only football and nothing else!!!
I just looked at your pics I love the Boxer and he is smiling I have English Bulldogs and they smile all the time also they are so cool I love my dogs sometimes my son says he thinks I love them more then my kids and sometimes that is right ha ha
Hello My name is actually Sharon---sharoncede is from my email address--Cede is my dogs name!!! I am so glad your son is with mine. H got to PCola on 9/30 and started school last week. We live in Mobile which is about 75 miles away so we have seen him every Saturday unless he had duty and this past weekend he came home for the whole weekend. H comes home Wed-Sun for Thanksgiving---I feel so fortunate tohave him so close. Where do you live? Do you know what barracks your son is in? Are yall going to visit during the holidays? Our Justin went there for his A schooling from Jan-May of this year. we went and saw him several times there-kind of a boring place but the beach is beautiful. you can email me at maniacix40@aol.com with that requested info and then I'll put it in the mail today for him.
Hi, Sorry I haven't been on but was away and had no computer , Would love to do the meet and greet. can't wait to get there. I hope there is no hold up for us I received a letter that my daughter slipped and fell in the shower and hit her head pretty hard, had been rushed to veterans affairs hospital by ambo, so she was pretty upset but more upset that she doesn't want to be held back. so we shall see.

Hi Laura, Yeah I wish I would have listened to a friend and joined sooner, but it made it all seem too real and I wanted to cry before he left - but I could have learned about going to MEPS with him. Anyway, yes we received the "box" yesterday and as someone else said I looked all through it for some address or note from him - but got none. Just dirty socks and other clothes and his shoes and backpack.
The roller coaster ride has begun, so hang on tight. I hope all of us can share with you some words of positve encouragement and help you during this journey. I am sorry I do not live closer, but I do check in on here a couple of times a day. So just keeping thinking positve thoughts and when you finally do get that first letter from BC, you will carry it around for days because those words will be some of the most precious words every written. Mama hugs to you and stay positive and be strong! It will be hard, especially when you get your kid in a box minus the kid in a few days, we have all been in your shoes and most of us still have down days. My son left a month ago on his first deployment overseas. He will be gone for over 2 years, miss him everyday but thanks to modern technology-we can talk and send each other messages thru facebook or myspace. You will feel better soon, I promise:D

I got my letter today and he is in Div 383 Ship 12..I now have that added to my name
